Different measurement styles are used to provide fairness in international sports competitions. One of the methods is that to measure the coefficient of restitution (COR) which is a bounciness of balls that must be between a certain values to be used in international competitions.

After VCE Unit 1/2 Physics students have been taught Sports chapter in term 4, they have been asked to measure the COR of balls in our campus and they have prepared a report about how school balls are close to international rates.
